[N.B.: I am posting this for my wife, as the site she's on doesn't carry comp.sys.novell. I forward all posts to her; please be sure that if you email responses, they are addressed to wombat@jupiter.nmt.edu. Thanks.] I'm having a consistent problem with my printers. As nearly as I can tell, the problem is the initial handshaking between the printer and the queue. When I first boot up the printers and computers in the morning, very often the first few documents that are sent to the printer won't print. I've had no luck in getting this problem fixed, although I have managed to work around it somewaht. I'm running Novell Advanced NetWare 286 V.2.15 Rev. C, with Lanspool version 2.3 to run my two printers, both of which are remote. The equipment is as follows: Tandy 4016 dedicated file server 6 Tandy 2500XL workstations 1 IBM PC XT workstation 1 Arc Turbo PC clone workstation 2 Tandy LP 950 Laser Printers set to emulate HP Laserjets. Does anyone know why I'm having so much trouble? Help me please, this is totally out of hand. Lily-Rose wombat@jupiter.nmt.edu Please reply to me by e-mail, as I cannot get this newsgroup directly, and I will post a summary. Thanks.
