I (or my coworker) got the 'charon' to act as a gateway between the novell/netware world and unix. But I can read in the documentation for 'charon' that it also allows printer requests could be transfered the same way. but there is NO information how to do this. The primary unix machine is a 'Sun386i/250 SunOS 4.0.2' ... any clues? -- exit 0 ; --- Conny Ohstrom,Televerket nynashamn nfn6, industriv{gen 4, s-149 80 nynashamn (sweden) usenet: connyo@nfnsun.n.tvt.se, phone: +46 752 63012

Despite what the manual says, there is not yet any printer support in Charon 3.x. Its a future development. Meanwhile you can use Charon 2.0 for printing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- John Baird Internet: J.Baird@lincoln.ac.nz Senior Computer Consultant CompuServe: 75360,35 Centre for Computing & Biometrics Phone: (64) (3) 252-811 Lincoln University Fax: (64) (3) 252-944 Canterbury New Zealand
