[comp.sys.novell] Network Consulting How?

I'm interested in the area of pc network consulting, but how do I get into
the field, more specifically what is needed to qualify as a consultant.
Additionally, how do I get into networking contracting and what can I 
expect both finacially and legally. I am currently majority owner of
an engineering consulting corporation, but pc networking is a different 
kind of animal. Any help or information would be appreciated.
