HELP, we are trying to set up host printer off the IBM mainframe. I'm pretty sure we have the 3270 workstation software and the gateway software configured correctly. However, the mainframe people don't have any experience setting up a LAN host printer. I've talked to Novell(in Sunnyvale) and they have been very little help. They've tried but they just don't have the experience. The MF analyst seems to think the problem lies in the the CICS or VTAM definition we're using. If you've got a LAN host printer setup and running I would be very greatful if our MF person could talk to your MF person. Please reply via email. Thanks for your help. PS.
