After some eighteen months of trouble-free operation, we got the message out of our server today: Abend: Segment not present interrupt. Power off and back on to restart. Running process MPSRV5 We got the same message several times after powering down the machine and restarting. Some time later, I rebooted, and found that it worked, and I have had no problems for some time since, despite several sessions of trying to load the server as heavily as possible. The machine is a UNISYS 800/20 with 4,640 MB RAM and a 140MB SCSI disk running Advanced Netware 2.15c. It seems to think all the memory is OK when it does its power on diagnostics. Can anyone out there give me an idea of what might be going on? Is the problem likely to recur? Peter Summers
