I am currently trying to install NetWare 3.11 on a Dell 486-33 server
and am running into problems with the ISADISK driver when I try to
duplex drives. I load Install and try to have the system find my
second drive to create a NetWare partition on, but it never locates
the second disk drive. A friend at this university is also trying to
install 3.11 and is having a similar problem. He talked with the
manufacturer of his drive controller and apparently they read him a
technical bulletin that says that the duplexing capability has been
removed from the 3.11 ISADISK driver.
Is this true or not?
Is there an alternative driver that I can use that *DOES* support
duplexing on the drives that ISADISK supports? If this driver is
available, where can I get it?
Thanks in advance for any help.
