We are running Novell 2.15 and using a Micom Interlan Gateway for TCP/IP support. During today the TCP/IP service gradually degraded and finally ground to a complete halt. The server console displayed the message LISTENER ABEND: Out of IRP Resources Rebooting the server solved the problem, for a few hours, then it happened again. We have now cold-started the server in the hope that it will clear itself up. Any ideas what our problem is? (We haven't made any significant configuration changes recently). Don't be too technical please, I am only just becoming Novell-literate! Our setup in detail: Server: Tulip TR 386/25 with 330 MB disk, 4MB RAM Ethernet board: NE2000 V1.01EC 890309 TCP/IP Board: MICOM Interlan NP600G Network OS: Novell SFT 286 TTS Netware Rev 2.15C TCP/IP software: MICOM TCP Gateway V1.20 Thanks in advance -- Nick Rozanski Praxis South-East Ltd, Church House, Church Street, Staines, Middlesex TW18 4EP Tel: +44-784-460694.
