[net.followup] PCs and Education

  I'm sorry if I intimated that history majors have no use for PCs.  What
I really meant to convey is that the present human interfaces available for
Pcs (and for large computers) are really not friendly to members of the
laity.  We members of the priestdom often forget that what we accept as a
minor inconvenience could be a major stumbling block for a user who does
not care how the machine works, just what it does.

  I still hold the opinion that Pcs currently are used mostly as toys.
Not that they are toys, but that is what they are relegated to be.
