[comp.lang.clos] What is the new PCL: "5/1/90 May Day PCL

ralph@laas.fr (Ralph P. Sobek) (01/22/91)

I have recently recovered the new Revision 4 PCL from ariasia.xerox.com.
I would like to know what changes have been made since the prior
releases. Have just bugs been corrected? The notes.text file hasn't
changed since May Day revision 2.

Also, does this PCL work with Lucid Common Lisp 4.0?

By the way, how is the gateway between this newsgroup and the
common-loops mailing list? We rarely get postings to this group.

re: Also, does this PCL work with Lucid Common Lisp 4.0?

Previous versions of "May Day" worked "as expected" in Lucid 4.0; we
put in a lot of work assuring that, modulo package barriers, PCL would
operate with no difficulty even in the presence of the native CLOS.
