[comp.graphics.visualization] Common acid expereinces

andyrose@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu (Andy Rose) (11/30/90)

Termcap screwed, disregard syntax.

The experienced may feel that there are common threadws possibly
due to physcal structure of human life. Perhaps it is exposure
to common images (ying-yang, dead stuff). Or relations in the
natural world (tree shapes, stars). Visuals acide I am seeking the
commonality of moral expereince.

It sure seems ed at Hampton 1st night Worlock's I was dancing on a
disintigrating line (no 1st derivative, real-time fractal szoom) between
dark and light.

I have only had this vivid an experience once out of many so... could
be random.

WE we all sow see different visions, do we all fight for sanity?

The dual nature of the experience suggests man-women(an), right-wrong(?)
Am I limited to binary? Am I just a power of 2?

Four days until I see you at the show.

Yeah, like we were talking at the (popular graphics mfr) programming
course, we all were lamenting how acid was a helluvalot cheaper than
these puppies, and much easier to program :-)

But perhaps the value in computer graphics is that like in the other
visual arts, the experienced is enriched by the participation of
the viewer and the co-participation of the performers (in performing arts).

Treading closer to the boundaries between science and art, has anybody
given some thought to how to improve the atmosphere for insight (i.e.
to get a machine to suggest something like Kekule's benzene dream?)
