fd2hdf works with rectangular arrays of floating point data and converts the data into HDF format. The question now is, what should be done, and does a routine exists to convert from non-array like data into HDF. If so what is the name of the routine, and where can it be found. For a example a set of data like shown below formed over a non uniform mesh. .. ..... .... ..... ...... ............. ............. ............. ............. Second: Assume I have the boundary linear segments for the previous mesh in the form (x1,y1) to (x2,y2) how does one represent that in HDF format ?
