Hi,
I had made a posting about this a few days back, but it seems that
posting did not make it to you.
I am looking for a good mathematical package which supports 3-d graphics.
I particular I need a package which supports 3-d point plotting well.
Most packages seem to have a good support for 3-d surface plots but not
so good for 3-d point plots. If you know of any such package, pl. let me know.

I don't usually read this newsgroup, so I would appreciate it if you can
send me email at sushil@pixel.cps.msu.edu about this.
Thanks,
Sushil

I am wanting to display some algorithm animations from a SPARCstation
running X and would preferably like to use an overhead projector with a
Datashow sitting on it somehow plugged into the SPARC.

How do you, when doing seminars about your graphics visualizatons
display your neat stuff? What are the hardware costs?

The only solution I have at the moment is (get this) running X windows
on a Mac2 with an X server running through appletalk. Then I can plug
the Mac into the datashow and display the animations. But this is
horribly slow and may not even be cost effective given the cost of the
Mac X server.

Thanks
