Permit me to suggest "rewinding" your .newsrc file using an editor; for
example,
comp.benchmarks: 1-2

On our system, doing so revealed the existance of this article, less
than a month old:

Actually, with the standard 2 week "wasting" of news those articles
would be gone.  Eos only keeps news for 3 days.  We need the disk space.

I will start the FAQ on the first of each month.  It has this address and
other info.

Also, I would note that news delivery is NOT reliable.
I never saw the first few articles on the 'bc' discussion (not
that I would want).  I also recall the address was posted several times.
