I have been given some responsibility in selecting graphics
workstations (2 or 3 @ ~150k each). The primary purpose will be for
"scientific visualization" of radio astronomical data, e.g. volume
rendering.
I would be extremely interested in learning about what criteria other
organizations have used in selecting graphics workstations, as well as
in hearing about any benchmarks that might be available.
If possible, please reply via email, and I will provide a summary.
