I am in a group developing a video-intensive application targeted for a PS/2 running Windows. I am looking for some input about the following possible development languages and their relative merits. If you have ANY input, please e-mail me. Even if you are just pointing me to good references, it will be most appreciated. 1. C++ and _______________________ (<-- Name of good toolkit here). 2. Gold Hill Common Lisp, perhaps with CLIM (when are they available?). 3. Actor. An object oriented environment by Whitewater Co. 4. ** Any other suggestion you are kind enough to make **. We really feel like we have far too little information to make a good decision. How do these products run on a PS/2? How well/easily do they interface with Windows? Are there good toolkits available? How well do they interface with video? Any comments are greatly appreciated. Frank Luksa luksa@ils.nwu.edu (129.105.49.1)
