Imaging Technology PC VisionPlus frame grabber. My problem is I can not use the Mouse to point to some specific points of a frozen image on the standby video monitor like I can if I were programming out of Windows, since Windows reserves the Mouse resource. One way to get by this problem is to copy the image into the client area of the window, but it's a painfully slow process(I am using GetPixel). I think there may be another way to copy the image faster but I am not sure. Still I have seen a commercially available package called Optimus. It is very expensive(the software alone sells for 3990 dollars). In Optimus, you can get the cursor to appear in the standby video monitor by clicking a button(icon). Optimus does not fit my need but the way the mouse appears in the other monitor is exactly what I need. If someone has done something similar to this. Please help me by either sending me private mail or post to this netgroup. I will post a summary if there are enough interests.
