Well, I finally finished my first windows code. It's an import filter to be used in accordance with the PageMaker specifications... Using Word for Windows, Power Point, PageMaker, or any other program that follows the import specs, it will allow the user to directly import a GIF file into the documentation. But in doing so, I have found out that the PageMaker specs I've been following was written for use with Windows 2.1, and I can not seem to import any pictures that have palette informations... (i.e. all 256-color images come out messy).. Anyway, does anyone know if there is a newer specification out that will allow for the Palette ? If I use a dummy program that plays the metafile I pass it through the DLL, I can get my 256 color images perfectly (well, minus the 20 colors I cant use)
