Yes they do exist... I have been working on them for some time now. The Adlib/Soundblaster driver for FM music synthesis is working supporting both the 11 voice percussive and 9 voice melodic modes. I can play standard adlib .ROL files in the background while working in windows. Yes folks it's jukebox for windows. I am getting ready to head into VOC files and the 12 voice CMS musicd for the SB card. Also that annoying beep of windows is now user configurable through the adlib card. You should here the noises KLOTZ makes.. Very Cool.... I'm now waiting to see what Microsoft is going to do with multi-media... Hope I don't have to shell out another $500, the DDK price to do this driver was bite enough. At any rate.. want to talk with the folks at Adlib and SB a little more to see if I can drum up interest... would rather have them supporting a driver than me.. but you never know. I have distributed the driver and it's calls to some programmers to let them get a jump on programs for the sound cards. I am interested in getting a standard file format spec whatever going if Microsoft comes up with something poor for their multimedia stuff. later... Monty
