Just ran across this "interesting" way to crash windows.
- Start windows
- double click on DOS to start a DOS session
- <ALT><Enter> to make it a window
- Run Norton's SI (I used version 4.5) in that window (and notice
that windows is eating ~33% of your CPU).
- double click on DOS to start a second DOS session
- <ALT><Enter> to make it a window
- Run Norton's SI in that window
Everything dies and you are back where you started windows. Neat, huh?
