In pursuit of more disk space I noticed that the \windows\system directory contains font files apparently for CGA and EGA screen display. I have a vanilla VGA (Zenith '386s; 16Mhz and 20Mhz, flat monitors). When are these lower resolution fonts used (if ever)? In DOS applications? In Win3 applications? Can I erase these files without disabling Win3 functions? What other files are not necessary? Where might I read (manuals?) more about this? I have the Zenith release of a Win3 manual, it is not much help. barry ps reply to USENET or USERE9W9@RPITSMTS or Barry_Floyd@mts.rpi.edu
