Can anyone recommend a database engine for use with Windows? Either a DLL or "compiled in" version. I've been mostly happy with btrieve under DOS, is that, or a workalike, available (wintrieve?). If possible, it should run on the Macintosh also, but I'll take what I can get! Oh, and a C++ interface would be a bonus. (Don't ask for much :-)) thanks. Reply direct and I'll summarize. cheers, michael Michael Mee, _--_|: Postgrad, Space Studies Dept / : "Proudly Australian University of North Dakota :_.--._/ ... stranded in ND" (701) 777-3460 v

It's a DLL, which is exactly what I though it should have been. If you have the DOS version, upgrades are reasonably inexpensive. (I've also used Btrieve under DOS, and was relatively happy with it.)
