[net.followup] computer & calculators at schools

My old Alma Mater had a neat idea for engineering students: you could
go and buy a caculator, you could bring it workshops and exams.
Problem was, all the questions only ever wanted...

	a) algebraeic solutions
	b) factored out perfectly (THAT was how you knew you get it right)
	c) solve to an expression in surds and leave it there

I therefore tend to agree with the people who see such things as
reducing the load on the campus machines by shifting editing and the
like off to 'workstations'.
