[comp.windows.ms.programmer] TCP/IP based Communication b/w Windows applications and UNIX

emuleomo@paul.rutgers.edu (Emuleomo) (02/05/91)

My company is looking for a product that will allow us to communicate
via sockets between a Windows application and a UNIX application!
We are hoping that this communication will be **TCP/IP** based since we
may also need to communicate with Tandem computers running TCP/IP.
Any ideas?
Commercial products will be most welcome!

E-mail will be appreciated!
ThanX

I just read an article in Jan 21 LAN TIMES about a product from Cogent
Data Technologies called Open Windows which allows simultaneous access
to NetWare, Lan Manager, and TCP/IP from Windows 3.0. Cogent Data
Technologies is based in Friday Harbor, Washington.
