In response to my query about TCP/IP based communication b/w Windows

Check out WNQVTNET.ZIP at cica.cica.indiana.edu. Its in the /pub/pc/win3/util
directory. Although this is a beta release it works for me.

I have been using the FTP Software's PC/TCP development kit for a while
now. It is NOT specifically designed to work with Win3, but will allow
you to initiate a single window and do socket level networking with
TCP/IP hosts. The full suite includes telnet and ftp which can run out of
a DOS window on top of Win3. They say they are coming up with a Win3
verison soon. They're in Waburn, MA.

Wollongong also has a TCP/IP development environment but it isn't quite
intended for Windows either. I haven't used it much but it comes with a
set of undocumented DLL's. Don't know what they do though. Wollongong
is in Mountain View, CA.

Distinct (in San Jose, CA I believe) just released a full TCP/IP for
Win3. It looks pretty nice. Has socket interface as well as rpc support.
They have used the development package to build and sell a terminal
emulator and a network backup program. As far as I know these are the only
ones doing this sort of thing.

Personally, I prefer to use the FTP Software. The one program at a time
limitation is not a problem currently (until they come up with the
upgrade). Wollongong's is still in beta. Distinct, I haven't used so I can't
vouch for it.

Hope this helps.

My firm provides just those types of services. We've even got
a site using some of our code (i.e. WIndows-UNIX via TCP/IP).

Hello,
My company has been shipping a TCP/IP DLL for Windows 3.0 for the
	last four months (NEWT).

We offer a comprehensive development environment NEWT-SDK. The
stack provides standard 4.3BSD and NDIS interfaces supporting both
Ethernet and Token Ring (FDDI and SLIP are currently in beta-test).

To the best of my knowledge, this is the only DLL TCP/IP.
