This has been driving me nuts and its one of those things that I'm sure has an easy answer. After installing c6.00 and adding the new-vars.bat to my autoexec, then running the autoexec gives me an "out of environment space" error. Looking this up tells me all about the command command which, after calling it with /e:00300 or so makes things OK. However, I can't put COMMAND command in a batch file, because it just returns and won't execute anything after it. (i.e. I have to run the rest of the batch separately) Even a Call Command /e:00300 doesn't help. Also, does anybody who answers the phone at Microsoft have a clue? I tried to get the updates to c6.00, the woman on the phone says, "Oh, you have to have coupons, I'll send them to you." She sends me the coupons to upgrade to c6.00, which I already have. I need c6.00a!!! Oh yeah, I also got an upgrade for WfW, except I never bought it (and never will!!!) Correction: I got an upgrade coupon, not the upgrade itself! -Owen Owen Hartnett omh@cs.brown.edu.CSNET Brown University Computer Science omh@cs.brown.edu uunet!brunix!omh "Don't wait up for me tonight because I won't be home for a month."
