[comp.windows.ms.programmer] CNS C++/Views + Borland C++ ??

akm@cs.uoregon.edu (Anant Kartik Mithal) (03/22/91)

Hi,

I just received a brochure/price list from Programmer's Connection,
who are offering a bundle of Borland C++, CNS C++/Views and Petzold's
Programming Book for $499. I am curious to know what people think
about this combination. I already have MSC 6.0 and codeview.

Specific questions:

What is CNS C++/Views like (or the non C++ version, whatever it is
called?)

Do you think the combination of C++/Views and BC++ is good?

How much memory does one need to be able to run BC++ from within
windows? (I know it is a dos application.)

Can I get a better educational price than the one listed above?

thanks for any info,

kartik
