Does anybody know of books/articles on Windows programming using C++? Or experience doing so you'd like to share? I'm teaching myself Windows programming by working my way through Petzold (quite an excellent resource!), converting his examples to C++/oop-style programs as I go. It's taking some time, but it's worth it to me, being a big C++ fan. I'm using Borland C++ (no complaints, by the by). It seems there's a shortage of material out there specific to C++/oop methodologies as applied to Windows (exibit A: Borland itself recommending the Petzold! :-) ). Hopefully that's just my own perception, about to be changed. An interesting article was published in the Winter 1991 _Borland Language Express_ magazine. It goes over one person's ideas on how to integrate Windows and C++ and it might give you an idea or two.
