Is it possible to write your own printer driver for Windows 3.0 I have a Japanese domestic printer for which there is no driver. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance, Paul Spee (spee@jrdc.go.jp)

Yes it's possible to write your own Windows device driver. Call Microsoft and ask for information on the Device Driver Toolkit (DDK). Terrell

In article <5246@koudai.cs.titech.ac.jp> spee@jrdc.go.jp writes: >Is it possible to write your own printer driver for Windows 3.0 It is certainly _possible_, but would be cheaper for you to buy a new printer. The DDK (Device driver Development Kit) is $500. By the way, you could have found this information in the FAQ list. -- Bob Goodearl -- goodearl@world.std.com Principal Software Engineer, Easel Corporation
