What is this Borland C++ Help Compiler that recent postings have mentioned? I've just installed BC, but I saw no reference to this component.

The help compiler takes RTF (Rich Text Format) text files and produces a "binary" file which the microsoft windows help program can use like other windows help. RTF is produced by several different programs, an example being Word for Windows. It is supposed to be part of BC++, but may arrive in a seperate package later. It is necessary for programs you want to have help within, otherwise, it doesn't matter too much. bruce -- | Bruce O'Neel | internet : oneel@heasfs.gsfc.nasa.gov| | Code 664/STX | span : lheavx::oneel | | NASA/GSFC Bld 28/W281 |compuserve: 72737,1315 | | Greenbelt MD 20771 | AT&Tnet : (301)-286-4585 | Thats me in the corner, thats me in the spotlight, losin' my religion -- rem

If you're a registered user, Borland should send you the help compiler separately (it was not included in the first shipment of BC++ 2.0). Actually you should probably have gotten it by now (I got mine 2 weeks ago). Terrell

I bought mine last week and it was included in the package. Look for a HC.EXE file. That is it. (At least I think it is, I haven't used it yet). Butch
