[comp.windows.ms.programmer] Writing Help Files Cheaply

uad1031@dircon.co.uk (Julian Templeman) (04/30/91)

Hi all.... there's been some recent traffic about how to write
Help files without the expense of buying an RTF word processor.

I just discovered a hypertext authoring program called 'Xantippe'
which enables you to build hypertext documents, jump around
them and so on, but also to save what you create as an RTF file,
which you can then feed into HC. It seems to do a basic job,
but doesn't handle the fancier aspects like build tags. Still,
if you don't want to be fancy, $15 for the shareware might be
just the thing.

I can't post to cica coz I don't have FTP access, so if anyone
wants a copy, either email me, or contact the author (Rodney
Lai, IRIS Media Systems) on (415) 256 4673, somewhere in California.
