Has anyone used Raima's "dbVista III" database engine with Actor? I've been trying to get the single user version for Microsoft Windows to work (...using dbvista.act and following their directions from the manual...) but fatally abort after a pcall() to any dbVista function. The Windows error I receive is "Unrecoverable application error" and it aborts my entire Actor session... I really like this database manager and have used it with "conventional" languages... I think Actor is a terrific development system... Now if I can only get the two to play together! Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate any help ... including source if possible!
