Does anyone know of a windows 3.0 Runtime ? I am developing a windows application and want to allow users who do not have windows to be able to run it. I vaguely remember that Microsoft Excel once came with a windows runtime. With the release of Windows 3.0 microsoft stopped runtime licensing. However, everybody who got a license for his product before the deadline can bundle the windows 2.x (!!!) runtime with his product forever. But there are no runtime licenses for windows 3.0 I think. +-----------+ Thomas Hornschuh | | SoftStream Development | * | Obermarkstr. 72, D-4600 Dortmund 30, FRG | * * | Tel ++49-231-48 64 60 Fax ++49-231-48 85 98 | * | FidoNet 2:245/36.1 +-----------+ UseNet: Thomas_Hornschuh%p1.f36.n245.z2@hippo.dfv.rwth-aachen.de

I beleive you can make a runtime of 3.0 but Microsoft will not licence you such to provide with you application. You can buy from them a Windows Demo which you application can be added to and used only as a DEMO COPY. You best bet is to contact Microsoft.
