		HAM SURVEY RESULTS
		___ ______ _______

Thanks to those who took the time to respond to my survey.
There were only 8 who did. In order to get enough input
I handed out forms at our local radio club this past Tues
night. The results were as follows:

1) License Classes: 4% Tech, 30% Gen, 44% Adv, 22% Ext

2) Favorite Mode: 52% SSB, 30% CW, 18% said 50-50.
These figures were also true for the Gen and
Adv classes individually. Extra Class alone
said 28% SSB, 46% CW, and 28% both.

3) Of those preferring CW, only 50% have narrow
(500 Hz or less) filters, either IF or audio
   types.

4) Only 16% use linears: 0% Gen, 14% Adv, 45% Extra.

5) Average time license held:
Gen 13 years, Adv 13 years, Extra 6 years.
