AMSAT to Take Part at ARRL Convention
----- -- ---- ---- -- ---- ----------
AMSAT unveiled its plans for the AMSAT booth at this year's Annual
ARRL Convention at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The booth will be manned
by expert OSCAR people.  Hours for the exhibit are 23 July, 1800-2200;
24 July, 0800-1700; 25 July, 0800-1400. The AMSAT video tape
will be displayed, along with K0RZ's Apple-based satellite information
and tracking program, the ZX-81 project prototype, and of course
handouts, tokens, and the like. Members who wish to help out the
booth staff will have a chance to sign up at the booth.

The AMSAT seminar will be held from 0900 to 1200 on the 25th; it
will consist of three one-hour parts. Included are OSCAR basics,
a question and answer session, the tracking program, and a report
on Phase IIIB.

Orbital Elements
------- --------
The reason I no longer put the satellite orbital elements in this
digest is that by the time it gets out, they will have changed a
bit. For people who need or want these at frequent intervals,
the Amateur Software Exchange CBBS keeps up to date elements.
