The Windows Programmer's Reference says (in section 2.14.2) that GetMetaFile "opens a metafile stored in a disk file and makes it available for replay or modification." As far as I can find, that's the only hint in the book that once you call CloseMetaFile the metafile isn't written in stone, forever unmodifiable. Can anyone tell me how to re-open a metafile, so that I can append some more graphics operations to it? Thanks in advance.
