Hi all. I have been asked by the President of our company to help in the search for a Windows developer. As you may well surmise, there aren't many of us out there, so this forum seems like a good place for this type of request. We are looking for someone who is not only a great programmer, but has also mastered the art of programming Windows. Our product is a pretty exciting app. It is a molecular modeller. We do all kinds of graphical representations of molecules and lots of other stuff which I am not at liberty to discuss on the net. Some of the things I can say are: * We are *already* using a 32 bit programming model under Windows! * We make heavy use of DDE. * We will *soon* be writing 32-bit DLL's for advanced graphics. * Our architecture is based on distributed processing. My personal plug is that I used to be a Microsoft developer (for about 3 years). For 3 years I happily churned out code for the application's division. It was very rewarding (and I was rewarded well), but the applications themselves were not all that exciting. Here, however, not only are we doing leading-edge Windows programming, but the application itself is very exciting. Visuallizing (with accuaracy) a bunch of molecules dancing around on one's screen is pretty heady stuff.
