[comp.windows.ms.programmer] Actor: Request for info

rosen@cbnewsb.cb.att.com (steven.b.rosen) (06/21/91)

Hello Windows Developers,

I have recently recieved much promotional information about a
product called Actor by The Whitewater Group.

Does anyone out there use this package? What do you win compared
to getting, say, the C++ package from Borland along with thier
windows development system? Whats the ramp up learning curve (good,
	medium, poor)?

I understand that some distributers (like the Programmers
Paradise) bundle some Whitewater utilities with C++. Is this
	the same package?

Please respond via E-mail, I'll gladly summerize and post my
	findings on comp.windows.ms.programmer.

Hello Again Win-Netters,

Last week I posted a request in comp.windows.ms and comp.windows-
.ms.programmer for information regarding Actor. Although I did receive
four replys, I also had some problems with my mail server. (Anyone out
there know why AT&T 3B2/1000's like to change the mode of mail folders
so that the group "Mail", [i.e. the mail daemon] cant post mail?)

At any rate, I'd just like to extend my request for another week or
so. If anyone tried to send me mail that bounced, please resend.

    Thanx,
	...steve...

PS: My original request (along with my e-mail address) follows:
