To comp.windows.ms.programmer Can Anyone Out There Help Me? I want to do i/o to a port (to/from an a/d converter) in a MS Windows 3 program. How do I go about doing this when I am not supposed to use calls direct to the hardware? There seems to be no documentation about this in the SDK manuals or any of the books I have. Its as though i/o doesn't exist unless its a mouse or keyboard. I would be gratefull for advice on this subject and to make contact with anyone trying to do this stuff. Are there any books that do go into this for Windows.
