I have a routine that needs to a) send a DDE message to another program, b) wait on the reply, and c) finish up what it was doing using the reply. We've done this using the usual Windows way by posting the DDE message, return, get reply message, process; but would like to keep the nice simple call;doit;return interface we have now. We could do this if windows was really multitasking and had a real signal capability. Am I missing something? Does anyone have a suggestion? -- Hardy J.
