I'm doing a study for a hypothetical company regarding the benefits and
uses of authoring systems in software design and interface prototyping.
As one source of information, I would like to get feedback from users of
authoring software available for the Amiga. The products I am seeking
opinions on are:

           AmigaVision
           CanDo
           UltraCard, UltraCard Plus

These packages seem the most suited to prototyping interfaces and generally
testing ideas before major code development. If you use or have used one
of the above packages (or if I've forgotten a significant package), please
send me your impressions. I need positive and negative comments with
specific attention to the suitability of each of these authoring systems
for the purposes mentioned above (i.e. software interface prototyping).

This study is an assignment for my Technical Writing class here at
University of Missouri-Columbia. Please include your name and email
address so that I can credit you in my report. I'd like to get this
information by the end of March 1991 (this month). Thanks for your time.

Certainly, it makes sense, for prototyping to use the above, but DO NOT
OVERLOOK the Director II for this type of task. I have used it for the
type of applications you describe. It isn't for everyone; some notion
of programming concepts is necessary to get the most use out of it, but
it has some capabilities NOT found in the products described above, and
thus would be important to include in your study.
