[comp.sys.amiga.multimedia] Digital audio editing...

I was wondering what the Amiga multimedia community feels that the AD1016
digital audio system can do for multimedia/DCTV applications. We have been
interested in multimedia applications from day one, and would like to see what
kind of ideas that you guys might have, or any negatives you might see, with
16 bit HD recording/editing on the Amiga with sync to SMPTE, MIDI in/out, and
digital interface to CD/DAT's. We also have a Motorola DSP56001 onboard for
sample rate conversion in real-time, and potentially non-real time video
and graphics compression.

Both Philips and CBM have discussed using our system for both CD-I and CDTV
application development, and we would be interested in developing audio toolkits
for both.
