[comp.windows.open-look] graphing packages for xview

kbj@jupiter.risc.com (Ken Johnson) (11/17/90)

DOes anyone know of 2 and 3d graphing packages for xview? I do lots of
multidimensional scientific data processing and really need easily
usable tools. I've already spent too much time learning xview and X.

       If enough data is collected
anything may be proven by statistical methods....

I just got a sample of something called XRT/graph. It offers
scaleable graph objects (pie charts, line graphs, histograms, etc)
for XView. Here's some contact info:

Sample pgm, a front end to vmstat, looks very promising. They also
have something interesting called "Event Mapping" which indicates
on which object (in the canvas) did the user click the mouse and where,
in both screen and (settable) user graph-coordinates.
