Hi netland, I am having some troubles running an X11R4 client under Open Windows. It is compiled under Sun OS 4.1, MIT X11R4 patchlevel 14, using the MIT Xlib. There is no toolkits involved. The problem is: when I popup dialog boxes in Open Windows, some of the fields in the dialog boxes don't line up. I suspect this is true because of the way we handle our fonts. Our dialog boxes get thier placing information from the size of our dialog box fonts. The we use under both Open Windows and X11R4 is -adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--14-140-75-75-m-90-iso8859-1 Is there any major difference in the way fonts are implemented in Open Windows that would cause such problems?
