I need to find out how to deal with control colors in XView. I have a generic package I use that creates a 2d image and passes to the creation routine the XVStatic colors I want to use. I can set the Segemnt to be either static or dynamic. Everything works OK in that the colors are generated. My question is this. I would like to know how to deal with the control colors. 1) WHen I have a static CS the lower N colors have been allowcated by other applications and the WM. How do I find out what N is? Can I copy those N colors from the static map into my dynamic map so that while I will have color flash I won't lose my controls too? I need to know where the bottom of the CS is so that I can offset my greyscale images by the appropraite amount.
