>I could put up with these problems if olwm had a virtual screen with a panner, >like that in TVTWM. I have heard that Solbourne's X11 server comes with a >virtual olwm, but of course that doesn't help me with a Sun. Does anyone >know of anything that can help me out here ? It's not the Solbourne X Server, it's the window manager. It doesn't do a virtual olwm, it implements the virtual desktop and allows you to choose the look-and-feel of the window manager or create your own. If you have Solbourne hardware, you get swm and can purchase a RTU (Right To Use) so that you can use swm on any SPARC based system. Solbourne will soon (6-9 months) have a binary distribution program that will enable you to purchase binary copies of the window manager, OI toolkit, and most of our other X applications. BTW, tvtwm and vtwm were both modeled after swm. -- Tom LaStrange Solbourne Computer Inc. ARPA: toml@Solbourne.COM 1900 Pike Rd. UUCP: ...!{boulder,sun}!stan!toml Longmont, CO 80501
