Any suggestions about a source for XSelect()? We have the full X11R4/OL distribution from ATT. I checked. Sorry, Bucky, looks like trouble. XSelect() is found in Xstreams.c. Does that give it away? ATT put a fair amount of work into porting X to the SVR3/4 environment. A streams interface is one of their contributions. I guess that they haven't given this to MIT. I understand that the sources to the full distribution are expensive. What you might want to try is to get a binary distribution from an ATT dealer (if you can find one, or try their 800 number), and go from there. This would also get you their server, which I suspect would be a lot better than the generic port. Geoff
