What I would like to do is have emacs functions come up iconified. By this, I simply mean, I would like to add an extra option to emacs: '-iconic' *8-) The desire behind this is I want to load up both 'emacs -f gnus' and 'emacs -f rmail' from my .xsession as icons. Using xterm, it would be possible if I did not want to have emacs open its own window; I would like to not have to deal with an extra xterm hanging around...It is a blank xterm which can be iconified. What I had thought would/might work would be a construction like: 'xterm -iconic -e emacs -f rmail' Now, I am running X11R4 with openlook. What, if any, are the solutions to this problem?
