How does one go about customizing their own fonts in open look (a la fontedit
in suntools) ?

I did that once (in OW1.0) by using suntools' fontedit. After editing I
convertted the font (by convertfont). The resulting font was not a scalable
one, and I had to do the editing separately to all required sizes.

Does anybody know a solution to OpenFonts technology ?
