I have been trying to compile various pieces of software that I have obtained from the net and often run into OpenWindows not having some definition files and/or library files. For example, I often need the Xmu library or the Xaw library that do not seem to be in the /usr/openwin/lib area. Do I have to obtain MIT X in order to get these libraries? Any other solutions?
