Dear World, I've got a couple of questions, actually. I've written an XView application that I'm trying to get to display on a DECstation 3100, by running it on a Sun and specifying "-display decstation:0." I'm getting Bad Atom errors (and the program's crashing). I've tried it with both twm and DECwindows. We're running X11R4. When I run olwm from the same Sun, and route its display to the DEC, I can usually run the problem program successfully, but not always, and never on a color DECstation. So, I'm thinking the problem is somewhere in the ICCCM compatibility. First question: is it? I'm trying to recompile the XView 2.0 libraries with PRE_R4_ICCCM set to YES. The compile blew up: make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make target `xv_icccm.o' I did a "find" on "*icccm*" and found nothing. 2nd question: can someone tell me what the fix for this is? Thanks in advance. John. -- (lusk@cs.unc.edu)
